why would you bag Rogers, your coach thought he was a reserves player ? :)

Lets not get too caught up in the bloody political correctness of football now!

From time immortal if a player leaves a club to play for another he will be reminded of his former employer by the supporters of his former club! Regardless of why he left!!

And likewise when that player has a good game or their team gets up by a point they are well within their rights to let those supporters know he made the right decision. That's footy and that's why the punters show up! I like the fact that Elari and Rogers gave it to us because it adds to the rivalry of the two clubs.

ATM I love nothing more than watching the swannies and demons go at it and these little niggles between players, coaches, supporters etc only add to the spectacle.

Tomorrow will be no different..............

Well thats not true.

In his first year at Swans he played exxactly the same ammount of league games (11) and ressies games (7) as in his last season with Perth, the year prior to that at Perth he played 18 league games for the season!!

For mine under-delivered at his time with Perth, showed plenty but wasnt consistant.
2 years on matured more and is playing ok.

In his last season at Perth he played 11 league games and 7 ressies games.
In his first season at Swans he played 11 league games and 7 ressies games.
You do the math but they look identical to me.
He had form issues at Perth,he was inconsistent!

Maybe he left Perth because he just didnt like the coach like the rest of us!

if you look at my post I indicated your coach thought he was a reserves player.

he didnt play reserves last year for Swans due to form - he started the year in reserves after coming back from injury and only missed out on the final due to Embley returning.

whatever you blokes think is irrelevant now and you can give him as much stick as you want, he has had the last laugh on McMahon and the pig pen this year...same with Elari - one of the hardest little players you would find at the footy, not sure why Perth supporters would bag him.

Firstly math is NOT a word; most assuredly it is maths or mathematics. With respect to Rogers and Elari they are not the first nor will they be the last players to leave a club due to lack of opportunities (perceived or otherwise). Swans certainly have had a few leave for the same reason.

....and if you look at my post, the coach wouldnt have played him 18 times in the league team in 2011 if he thought he was a ressies player.
Do you know what his form and injury status was at Perth in 2012???
Didnt think so!

The Swans bar never given stick to ex players playing back at Basso!

Of the more recent, Kraks copped a bit but I don't recall much, if any abuse towards Adams, Pullman, Spencer and Potente - all similarly fringe players to what Rogers was at Perth.

Having said that, we like any supporter base, have folks that would get stuck in regardless.
