There's some disappointment in Bassendean this season which is understandable. Having said that is good to see the Swan Districts reserves team in the Finals. Apparently finishing second on the Reserves ladder after the qualifying rounds. Heard earlier that Swans won their match today against Subiaco. Good to see a little bit of positivity for Swans.

Yes pretty comfortable win in the end. 4 goals to 1 in the first quarter set it up and Subiaco never really threatened them. Big challenge against West Perth next week

Stiffy gonna be offered the presidency of the club or bar manager in 2024?

Very good Mayor, he definitely has too much say around the place
Humphries continued his good form from league, he looks a real talent.
Thought Kane was good also, Metcalf a talent but not reliable
Good to see Collins stringing some games together after his bad head knocks, fingers crossed he gets some luck next year
Germs and Smith a good ruck combo and both need to play league next year

Good to see Swans keep rolling along in the Reserves finals. They were supposed to be up against it today but played well according to reports. Had a handy lead at half time which they maintained and won by 25 to 30 points.

Great performance by the reserves, a comprehensive victory over West Perth. It will be a fantastic experience for them playing at Optus on Grand Final day and hopefully lifting the premiership cup. Their effort has certainly lifted the spirits of Swans supporters and given some hope that many of these guys will graduate into the league side in 2024 ( many have already had a taste of it). Humphries, Tester, Hewitt, Cartwright and Taylor can expect many more opportunities next year.

Congrats to Mitchell Bain for winning the Prendegast medal. Even more meritorious given that he played quite a few league games and hopefully next year will be a key part of the league team
In the meantime he can play his part in trying to win a reserves flag in a few weeks
Also well done to Jesse Turner for coming equal 3rd in the Sandover

A Swan Districts/ West Perth Reserves Grand Final next week by the look of things. Going to be a ripper game.

Outstanding win, seems that a strong first quarter is something that most sides can overcome these days, well done.
