Mike I agree that Keitel could quite easily be on an AFL list but his time might have past him by.Although 27 is not past it I don't think he fits the demographic of what AFL clubs generally look for ie.investing in a younger player for the long term.He could quite easily be a fill in for a year or two - someone who could play straight away and make an impact(he has the ability to do so).I remember he had train on sessions with both local AFL teams( I think late 2021 after he kicked 70 goals that year) but he obviously didn't make it and he was younger then.Maybe Winger might be better credentialed than me to comment as he is closer to the action clubwise but it's a shame for a very talented player not to get the opportunity.A bit like Erceg who I rate as just about the best defender in the league.

Totally agree on Erceg Mikeh - He is so strong and rarely loses a contest.
He has become an absolute rock down back at Swans and would be the first one picked every week.
Another one that could easily be on a AFL list.
His kicking style although not great looking is also very effective

Ercegs marking is elite, up there with Notte. How far away is the old bloke? One of my favourite opposition players.
