After yet another poor performance against a top 4 team in WP last week we front up to the perennial top team themselves in Subi at Leederville coming off a rare loss to a WCER side that had a Norm Smith Medallist, 3 afl Premiership players and 12 Eagles listed players and even then only just went down.
For Swans surely some changes need to be made as the same players who have been extremely poor for a number of weeks just cant keep getting opportunities others deserve, whilst Bayok & Turner were injured.
Jetta should come back in whilst a number of consistent players in the Ressies deserve a chance that havent played League as yet this season.
Once again SD supporters (minus the odd hat eater) will be looking for SD to actually do something against one of SU, CL, SF or WP for a change, as 1 win from their last 25 clashes against these teams in the current Pickering era is utterly disgraceful and should be a complete embarrassment for everyone involved at Bassendean!

I will be looking for some reaction by the players and coaches to that insipid display last Saturday BH. Probably unrealistic to expect them to beat a Subiaco team on the rebound but I would hope they would attack the game with a bit more ferocity and desperation which were two qualities totally missing last weekend.
If this doesn't  happen and we get thumped again, Swans season could unravel very quickly.

Needs to be an expectation if you pull on a swans jumper that one handed efforts and not running hard means you are out the door, some blokes are soft on a regular basis and god knows why the coach puts up with it.
The amount of times last week we were outnumbered when the ball hit the deck was extraordinary

Spot on MO.
One guy I have named in a previous topic is a serial offender but there are a few others who should be named as well!
Also watching the replay I couldnt believe how many of our players that went to ground for absolutely no reason, it happened more than 20 times, you are immediately out of the contest when that happens and most of the time it was under no duress.
Also our better ball users Wilson, Clarke etc need to be utilised more in prominent positions on the ground where they can hit targets going forward.

Yes good observation MO
At one stage during the game I was trying to count the number of West Perth players on the ground because I was sure there must have been 25 given the way they were swarming all over us! The reality of course is that they were working much harder than Swans to get to contests and run into space.
I did also notice that the West Perth players were not slipping over as much as the Swans guys were. You would have thought it was their home ground!

Last time we played you guys you were super competitive especially after halftime, but it was pretty wet, only 8 pts in it at the end.
Forecast is for a 20% chance of rain so wont be as wet but if your boys bring that same aggressive game plan, it should be a good game.

Do all the Subi supporters read Said Hanrahan before each game?  Given our track record as per BH's post showing how badly we have performed against teams like Subi, it beggars belief that anyone can realistically think it is a danger game for Subi.

Remember this 42 coz I sure do? "It should be a percentage builder for Subi."

And it should have been.  For the record I think that Subi will win by at least 12 goals on Saturday; what is your prediction?

I think we were a couple ahead when the rain came last time so Subi by 24 points in an entertaining game. Is Gault going to be available do you know as I read he played out last week with a bit of an injury?
