Happy to take up your bet Marley as you have been wrong 4 times already this season!

My preference is a scotch fillet cooked medium with vegies and a mushroom sauce thanks.

Marley, injuries permitting you could be on the money with that statement....though TBH whilst SD haven't been kissed on the old fella's head fixtures wise, SD have definitely been blessed injury wise....looking at that injury hub list, SD have had fark all out so far...considering your lower grades are 0/4, injuries might be only a bee's dick away from seeing your statement getting derailed mate ....definitely with their current side SD should more then match/beat the likes of EF, EP and Peel that is for sure....even Perth too, who may spiral if they lose to Cl and SF over the coming weeks....still plenty to play for as yet....not so for a few teams over the next fortnight though....

Swans have had plenty of injuries, they just dont update that list for some reason.
the only bloke listed played last week.
Waite busted his shoulder and is out for the year, other senior players like Ireland, Hampson, Raynor, Beck have missed games for various reasons.

Ummm Freeze I hope you are not utilising the WAFL Injury Update page for your "info" in regards to our injuries thus far as the club have not updated it at all since the season started.
Hampson missed the first couple of games, Waite injured since round 1, Ireland missed the first couple of games, Bayok round 1, Beck missed a couple, Raynor missed the first month, More missed round 1, Costigan missed a month, Germs missed a few....thats just off the top of my head....Trew would be pushing for League selection but copped a sickening head knock before the bye and hasnt played since.

....more so thinking your top level boys TBH....I know EF have had it pretty lucky injury wise...but now I am having second thoughts considering the likes of Baskerville, Tucker, Davidson, Holmes and Loersch have all had their injury woes this year... everything is relative I guess.....

Yeah nah nice try Freeze you farked up again posting without knowing the actual facts as per usual.
All of those I listed who have missed games this season through injury bar big Germs who has been an emergency but not yet debuted have been in our best 22 (Hampson our reigning Swan Medallist) over the last 12 months....just stick to your Old Easts big fella!

yeah true BH....lets just then hope all those SD and EF boys we have mentioned as outs, rise to the occasion and deliver on our lofty expectations of them and lead our respective clubs to success....though got a feeling many an opposition fan reading this, wouldn't be sweating bullets and would be thinking who, who and farking who to most of those names....bar George of course....everyone knows George.

It is all relative to each club and their current positions both on ladder & development phase I suppose Freeze...did you honestly know many, if any of the WP injury list Leedy supplied the other day and touted as being in most other WAFL clubs best sides- Patterson, Medhat, Rotham etc?
We all see our own clubs and players through our own respective vision, some of course obviously see them from a lot further afar than others!

Also depends on whether the injury list includes 1st choice key players such as Gault, Hampson, Riggio, Notte, Howard etc or if they are depth players who could be replaced without having too much impact on the team structure.

Swans have only 5 wins out of their last 33 games stretching back to mid 2018 so a win on Saturday( if it happens) will be a very pleasant and novel experience.

BH meant to ask you what you thought of Claremont recruit Jacob Sideris who played his first game for us against South. Probably the shortest bloke I have seen pull on a black and white jumper for a while. He kicked a handy opportunist goal in the last quarter but didn't contribute much else and looked a bit out of his depth at times. Maybe give him another run against Peel to see if he can settle into things a bit more against lesser opposition? Disappointing that Zane Trew was injured as I would think he would be given some games in the league team before seasons end.
