No doubt Mitch Marsh return for the Scorchers will facilitate a "competitive" total for Voges struggling troops to eek out a much needed win.....Interesting the minority can pick a squad, the majority of us are scratching our heads..... thinking WTF?

gtrx, if I was a cynical man I would suggest that Lynn and Short have been "dropped" from the ODI series because they are box office attractions in the BBL and will draw many more people which equals $$$$. Lucky I am very trusting of everything that the selectors tell me.

TBH mikeh...the likes of M Marsh, Uzzie, Finch and S Marsh are so full of runs, not too sure how Short and Lynn will get back in TBH.....even if they continue to score well in the BBL.....pretty sure Langer said runs in any format were important currency for any Aust selection....pretty sure all those selected boys are oozing runs out of their pores.....hopefully Short and Lynn take note of what these boys are doing and match their deeds if they want to get on the plane to the WC in Eng.

Mike D'arcy Short has been man of the match in 3 of the 5 Hurricanes win.There is something going on.Optus was close to a sellout on Thursday. Only $100+ tickets left.

I was at the stadium tonight and I thought the batting with the exception of Ashton Turner was pedestrian. 135 was about 20 short but Coulter-Nile nearly dragged us back with his wickets. The Scorchers have been lulled into complacency by their past success and now the rest of the competition has gone past them. They are carrying a few players. Maxy has been fantastic for them but he is past his use by date, Cartwright has done very little all year, Bosisto was a wasted resource, he didnt bat or bowl. Mitch Marsh looked totally bereft of confidence with the bat and chose not to have a bowl when some of the others were struggling.The Scorchers need to recruit some decent overseas players next year including a batsmen who can get them going in the powerplay like Mccullum does for Brisbane.

Mike all the English International test and white ball players have to go home 8th of January. We will be looking for a big hitting opener to replace Willey.West Indian or Pakistani player.Pollard.Sammy,Gayle.

Shikhar Dharwan is in the country, can’t get a look in by the Indian selectors I would be enquiring about his services.
