Strong win yesterday for the Reserves, though when a retiring player (Perham) kicks 7 to be best on ground, it's a little disconcerting. I thought Murphy showed a bit up forward. But in reality, not sure many League quality out there. Teakle and Bonomelli are raw but have potential, Fletcher shows a bit, Holmes was good yesterday but has been around a bit and hasn't nailed a League spot. It's actually quite a strong Reserves side- in terms of players that have played League football. But not sure many will be regular League players down the track. Still, great win and good to get at least 2 Finals into some of the younger guys.

Where was Watson?

Was wondering about Watson also, presume he must be injured. Perham may not be right up there for league standard anymore but at 29 (or around that) still pretty handy in the twos. Agree with the comments regarding others, I think that Cameron Davidson (who has played a couple of league games this year) is still young and raw, next year will probably see whether he will develop into a league player.

Good win, but after all it was only against the East Perth pansies. Seems they are as partial to a good toweling up as they are to a little bit of banter.

Wow, not great timing and Watson has had a really good season.

Davidson does show a bit Oool, I think he has a chance of locking down a Back 6 spot in 2020.

Good on the kid experiencing some life....obviously will be missed from an EF perspective, but great opportunity to good to be missed...

Agree about Davidson, hopefully will get a decent run in 2020....reckon the reserves can beat Subi....though reckon WP and Cl may be tougher tasks. Great to see Perham kick 7...hopefully Jack can kick a few more....

Davidson has impressed in the back half of the season and did well in his league appearances - as has Hebiton. Both had solid games on the weekends.
We looked to have winners all over the park but East Perth no doubt made us look pretty good with their unwillingness to move the ball through the middle of the ground. The weekend will be much more difficult but we will be competitive.

Great day for footy- good luck to the Reserves. Looks like a few injuries but it'll be a great test against the reigning premiers.

Great win by the EF reserves....good spread of goal kickers.....more meritorious considering EF has a few decent outs as well for the side...tough one again v WP next week in the prelim final.....

EF ressies totally dominated Subi especially in the second half, harder at the footy, faster and your marking was exceptional.

Yep, there’s a bit to work with there. I missed the game unfortunately, but Teakle looked like he had a great game numbers wise. We really do have some promising talls coming through- be very interesting over the next few years how we balance them out.

Looking forward to the Prelim v WP
