Astro how can you compare Monaghan and Wiley results at EF after 6 games...come back in 1 -3 years time....all EF fans know is that Monaghan has done what Wiley didn't have the balls to do.....

Time will tell if those decisions or non decisions were the root to EF on going problems.......for me Monaghan is thinking of the bigger picture....needed to be done....not sure why Wiley didn't make them considering the amount of time he has spent at footy clubs...successfull and unsuccessful TBH

Given that Big Brother AFL teams have also shown that it takes time for game plans\plays to become second nature and old routine plays to be washed out of the head Bills strength in purpose will slowly take hold
Im gathering there has been some angst from several of the senior (settled in old ways) players till now being made accountable to playing a 'proven' coaches way - this challenge is always met by a strong coach and the abuser gets in line or gets the flick to reserves or elsewhere -
This particular player I believe had been found out to be consuming 'frothies' the night prior to a game? . Not a good look and shows a lack of respect for all at the club if true?

In my opinion, when a coach is not only changing a way a team plays but is also altering the culture & mindset this then takes more than a preseason and season start to properly entrench itself.

Im very happy with all I've seen to this point as Im sure are many others . Players taking ownership and being accountable is the correct move

Jack Perham in the twos also, interesting where he is at too and that both he and Schofield were dropped around the same time.

I heard that a few other players were connected with this. Perhaps Perham is one. Jacks form has been a bit down though so it could just be poor form. He hardly pushed the case for his return to the league side last Saturday at Bassendean. Very ordinary display. It was Schofield who looked the most likely to come back into the league side from what was a wretched display overall by our two's.

Just noticed something on the EFFC website that Schofield has stepped down.

Yep read that too Ti Em..... says Schofield has "stepped away" from the WAFL.....no doubt a few frothies will be consumed in honour of a talented footy player, who played over 100 games of WAFL footy, winning a WAFL Club F&B to boot.......
