Would have both Thornley and Dearle in mate, both started at Old Easts and went on to play in VFL premierships.

The other one is Gerard Neesham, originally played for us before taking a year off and then playing for Swan Districts prior to his stint at Sydney. He makes that side pretty comfortably for mine.

Yep thought of Neesham Ooooll, but considering he got drafted from SD and not EF decided he didn't really qualify as an EF player in this instance....

Yep got no probs with Thornley and Dearle coming in, both sounded like excellent players in both comps. Thornley was the fella who made way for Hopkins in that great come from behind GF win over Collingwood by Carlton....

Thought Williams had already debuted for Essendon before coming over to EF Ti Em? Then he went back to Essendon for a 2nd go and ended up playing in a couple of prenierships....

Spot on Freeze.
He debuted for Essendon in 1979 came over to EF in 1980 but after being dragged to the bench in his 2nd game at Moss St packed his bags and went back to Vic and eventually found his way back to Windy Hill in 1983 and had a pretty successful career there 109 games (including 2 Premierships in 84/85) and also played for Vic in 84/85.

Bease, considering how disappointing that 1980 EF side were, Daisy must of done something really bad to piss off the coach Bradley Smith to drag him off to the bench, pretty sure the bench wasn't long enough that year for EF......LOL.....

Thought that must have been your logic mate, otherwise you would have had your old mate Neville Fields in the side in a flash.;)
