Great to hear mate...obviously the young fellas well being comes first....anything on top is a plus. Definitely a talented sort, who can kick a goal.....if the players can stay on the park,then one would hope the club will win a few more games compared to last year...

I've think the recruiting has been pretty solid- though disappointing to miss out on Harry Marsh. In fact, it looks like we were the most active- though expected, when you finish last on the ladder.

I can't see many teams adding players now. I suspect we're likely done as well.

yep totally agree KC....obviously Marsh would of been the icing on the cake, but not to be....got to keep bodies on the park will be EFFC main priority for 2019......do that and I have no doubt performances will improve. Sounds like Griffen will lead the ruck with Strnadica and Loersch playing up front...with the former helping out the skipper....though with Cronan and ex colts skipper in Watson also available will be interested to see how Monaghan plays it....

Andrew Stokes is also a return and a ruckman so there does seem to be some depth in the big man department. Interesting to see if any have the versatility to develop as a key back, a bit like Lance Durack did in the late 80's with a season at full back when the Sharks had an abundance of talls.

Spot on Oooll....with Loersch & Strnadica standing at 203cm each, Griffen at 202cm back up talls in Watson, Cronan and Stokes at 197cm, will be interested what Monaghan does, considering regular backs in Winton and Jupp stand at 192cm and 191cm respectively and other youngsters in Davidson, Scott and O'Reilly are 193cm, EF have a plethora of talls compared with past years....can't play them all tho.....I see ex Peel recruit Bray dons the number 10, with Hampson no longer on EF playing list.....wonder if EF got a tsf fee for Hampson considering they told him to move on?

Still find it strange Boekhorst is still not listed, hasn't been since doing his knee, yet reported to be rehabbing well....

I see as one member of the Sorrell clan departs(Jono Marsh) another returns in Kennedy Sorrell...think Kennedy played a league game or two back in 2017 from memory.....wouldn't surprise if a few names disappear off the playing list as the pre season goes deep into the summer....though great to see another EF youngster return post the Wiley era

Hey Freez….Ned Sorrell was playing colts then went across to North Freo for a season in 2018. His brother Tyler played a league game or 2 a couple of years ago but I'm pretty sure Kennedy hasn't played a league game....he's a good kid though, very talented and comes from a cracking family so you'd think he won't be far away from seniors.
