Technically this is EF first bye of the season....just a smidge over half way thru EF season....so how are things going....list your highlights and lowlights so far EF fans

Highlights - EF consistency has been exemplary...numerous 10 goal plus defeats...inability to get inside their own forward 50....turning over the footy in our defensive 50....adding and rotating players through or to EF injury list.....week in week out the players have come to the fore in all those areas with amazing finesse.....

Lowlights - obviously Boekhorst 30 second 2018 season....LA and his hamstrings.....losing BOB because of his hamstrings.....Loersch and Kommer playing a total of 7 games between them out of a possible 22 so far in 2018.....the possibility of Wiley leaving before adding a wooden spoon to his footy coaching CV.....EF CEO Shimmon boasting how he knew in a single colts game that Fyfe was something special....yet after a win/loss ratio of 20 odd % over 2 1/2 years of coaching EF that Rob Wiley is the man to coach EF out of its current predicament....ditto to EF chairman Mark Stewart immediately responding publicly calling out The West JT stating JT knew jack shite about the EFFC.....yet more than happy saying nothing week in week out about the shite performances from EF senior squad and their coaching personnel.....5 wins out of 22 possible games.....

Games to look forward to....next week v the bye....whilst no points won at least nil further points and percentage lost.......looking forward to EF last 8 games left after the bye, be nice to finish the season with a bang for Wiley and winning him a spoon.....joining the illustrious EF coaching ranks who have secured the EFFC the WAFL wooden spoon....

Regarding the highlights - on the money, I would add to the EF consistency that it has also extended to a repeated capacity to not run out games and being able to consistently maintain a low fitness base...we can stack the reserves for the rest of the season (although they are last also, 2 wins out of the top 5 and more than 50% behind East Perth who are 5th, oh and by the way have 2 games in hand on us), ….should have maybe saved this for the lowlights but trying to find the positives.

Regarding the lowlights - agreed, especially the one regarding EF CEO Todd Shimmon. That's a cracker, so insightful and knowledgeable on one front and then totally ignorant on another. Must be why he didn't hit the highlights in the consistency stakes.

The Presidents nosh ups have been at a consistently high level also which is a highlight every home game. Drinks and finger food follow in the lounge with the compulsory march out to the huddle at quarter and 3 quarter time to hear Jack shite. Gather up the troops and march back for more!

Perhaps with bye next week the players can attend a nosh up for drinks etc and see the consistency at a high level. Then march out onto the park for some sharp circle work and march back for more also.

Could be on to something there oollllrrrrrry as the on field performances don't match the off field form shown. Anything consumed by players will have to be ticked off though as I have heard that there is a disliking to beer and hot chips after a game!

Spot on Freeze

Shimmon is a dud. A perceptive dud- who after Fyfe had 20, kicked 6 and 10 marks in a GF declared he was one to watch.

Stewart doesn't have a clue. Time for the broom to go through the whole club- lets get some footy people in there hey???

Think this year is bad?? Wait til next season when theres no new recruits and a heap walk

That is absolutely right, the club will be in no position to recruit and there is a very real prospect of a mass exit of senior players.

Its one thing when a coach can't work out its not working for him, even worse when others in positions of responsibility can't either. The club is on a rocket ride to league and reserves wooden spoons, apparently with a list that some rate, and any of the better ones destined for the door.

We're one of the few clubs that doesn't have the coach do some sort of Game Review. It's little things like this that the club needs to get better at. Bunkering down isn't going to solve anything

If EF were winning more I bet we would have match reports from the coach coming out of our ears....
