OTO I guess the difference between Hille and the others is that Hille played 19 leagu games for EP last year, the others did they play any?....all of them are fringe from the sounds of things....though Dent who went to SF seems to be rated by Grump, which is good sign. Can't blame EP playing hard ball with Hill.....I see Payne went to SD for 10K......

East Perth will have a core group of about 12 players to take up spots not filled by West Coast players this season. If Hille knuckles down, he should be one of those.

But you have to initially wonder about his mindset, considering the Club have already cleared 6 players to other WAFL Clubs this season..

He was seriously 'pissed' as were a lot of other players, supporters last year when in the last game he was dropped and some muppet like Lamb other another got a game in his place. I have known him for quite sometime and he is an outstanding young man not just for his football but the other stuff. He was at training yesterday and played in the scratch match, did enough to suggest his heart is at the club. It is the issue for the club and players and has been made more annoying by the weagles controlling the whole selection process, no EP representation at the table. i am sorry this is on the EF thread but was started by another!

would be great if Loersch can match Gault's 2017 season......key recruits for EF will be the return of LA & JMac from injury riddled 2017's.....and the return of BOB from retirement......plus with more midfielders on board to share the load the likes of Hampson can stay fit, at times he was called upon to do a lot of midfield work, more than his delicate hammy's can handle.....SD had some good youngsters stand up as well from the colts.....touch wood the likes of Ryan, O'Reilly, Joyce and Scott can step up as well.....though not too sure how much league the latter 3 will have with state commitments and the colts comp being implemented.

Despite the injuries we did finish last season a 10 goal better side than Swans.

Means jack shit the last game of the qualifying last year, how did you fair the week after? We won a 1st semi the next week while your mob were overdosing on Mothballs yet again
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

Au contraire the game meant plenty - that semi final spot you are so proud of was nearly squandered and I get to say we finished the season a 10 goal better side.

I notice Sam Read is now donning the number 99 jumper on EF website. . Usually a sign that an individual is on the list but not on the list....not a huge loss TBH....a steady defender at best .... hopefully youngsters in Scott and Bailey can step into the void.....
