Freezin wrote: Nice way to finish a crap season....like for Perth fans last week a bit of light perhaps to carry thru to 2018.....whilst Perth get the wooden spoon gong EF were no better at tomes during the season....whilst injuries to some EF senior guys hurt the club....opportunities were created by a host of youngsters for the future....hopefully EF can keep these youngsters next year.....recruit some quality and entice some ex players back.

Bad luck to the reserves, but I guess that loss to WP by a couple and kicking 6.18 v Perth in a 5 pt loss came back to bite in the end....as for the colts....beaten at the death, finished top, earn that break and hopefully the likes of Ryan,O'Reilly,Nevill, Collard,Blurton and Ritchie can come back and add some quality to the side.....hope young Strnadica is ok after landing on his head after that hang in the reserves game....

Freezin to put the colts' game into perspective: Swans were kicking against a strong breeze in the last quarter and needed to kick the last two goals of the quarter to win and the winning goal was kicked from the boundary line.

Freezin I can attest how well the Sharks played today, I saw all 120 minutes of it, although to be honest I was more focused on my mobile looking at other scores in the last term.... If you take EF's season since that horrendous 150 point flogging on WA day, they actually have been pretty competitive in most of their games since round 12. As well as their 3 wins they have had close losses to Claremont, Swans , West Perth and Peel Thunder so you could probably say a win like today was coming. Reward I reckon for the club showing faith in Wiley and you now have a good crop of young players to develop in the next few years.

After last weeks last quarter, I was devastated. But today, speechless. To a Sharks team missing a ridiculous number of good players, what a great performance. Cam Eardley first half, what a champion. Perham cleaning up in the back half, brilliant. Henson, Symonds and Carl Green - the last one has skills seen rarely at Shark Park.

At best, three teams are remembered each year - premiers, grand final losers and wooden spooners. We're none of them after a miserable year so the one positive. Hopefully Wiley's last bye visit to Melbourne gets good recruits for next year. Bring on preseason in two years time when Subi have lost their million a year from Domain Stadium. What the hell will they do when they can't buy a premiership and have to rely on something called their zone. And the Lions go... what's a local junior look like??? Last year ever for a flag this year me thinks

Good luck Souths. My mortal enemy, but I hope they win the flag.
