You need to support your club because you still have one!
Unlike some, whom have had theirs taken over!
It is difficult being a supporter at times when the club is not performing as one would like. All clubs have their ups and downs.
I hope you don't give it away fellas. People need to get in and support your club, because you still have one.

I have followed this club since the mid 1950's and will continue to do so till my last breath and I'm sure the others here will do so. We've been through bad times before, but I can't remember anything like this. Even in the late 60's and beginning of the 80's, bur we came back. This track looks to be a bit harder, but I hope we can give the supporters something to hang on to.

Very poor attendance, particularly with one team loaded with AFL listed players. I have missed very few home games over the past 40 years but I think I will take a break for a while.

Welcome to the club. Understand how you feel! Ive taken a break and am better for it. No stress on a Saturday afternoon!! :cheer:

Saturday was horrible no question, completely inept display but bailing out now whilst appealling is wrong - like lending someone an umbrella but asking for it back when it starts to rain.
I will be there this Saturday at Leederville quite happily - I know not many will go and I want to see who those other die hard are because they are Old East's through and through and they are my kind of people.

Was good to see a long time Swans fan we both know Grassy at the game last week although he wasn't happy with the result as you would expect! :pinch:

1924-73 is a long time. After that in my time another 13 of probably the worse years ever in the history of mankind still wasn't enough to keep me and many others away. Just have to turn up isn't that what support means

Yes DG, 49 years, then 13 years then 16 years, only missed a handful of games during those lean periods, the "best" one was in 82 or 83 I think when we only won a single game against EF, and guess which one I missed!! Clear but distant memories now thankfully.

Yeah Senior the 88-04 didn't seem as bad as the 13 year one even though it was longer

Anyone still going to WAFL is basically stuck now - even if you don't go you will still follow the score somehow and generally be distracted all Sat arvo. Might as well go and see what happens for yourself.

I would urge with alacrity as the extinction of the WAFL is nigh upon us.
