from the sounds of it Stephen Dodd appeared to be mistaken for a SD player on Sat BC....apparently he got pinged for the smallest of infringements.....naaagh no excuses from me about the umps.....though I reckon if EF had won, Dodds 7km penalty free would of been the deciding factor no doubt.....no when SD win, the SD boys usually leave the boys in yellow/green/pus pretty well much alone.....SD seem to be only club who lose because of the umps.....finally Harding has taken Maxie Walkers advice and sprayed his boys with aerogard.....kept the flies and the maggots away from those boys in zebra stripes on sat.

Mate the umps were overall very average on Sat and looks like all sides are in for a long and confusing year again!

Average? Very kind of you dog. Still they should improve as they get a few matches under their belts.

Certainly the free kick count in the second half of the reserves was par for the course. 3rd qtr East Freo 8 frees and Swans zero (nil point Eurovision contest style) and last qtr East Freo 7 to Swans 2.

I am not sure why you think they will improve. Fundamentally they think they are the centre of the universe. Exactly how long is it necessary to take before an umpire bounces the ball in the centre.

If the WAFL gets to be televised on 7 or 9 it will get even worse.

42 that's like me saying the umps were responsible for EF poor 2nd and 3rd quarters in the league game?....SD got on top because they were first to the footy and the scoreboard reflected that dominance.....same as in the reserves game EF dominance on the scoreboard was perhaps due to being first to the footy?....3 goals till 3rd quarter surel;y was a reflection on SD lack of ability to kick goals, not the umps lack of ability to give SD free kicks.....anyway didn't SD outscore EF in the last quarter?.....this is where you SD fans lose credibility.....seek blame from other sources rather than your own.....just face facts SD reserves were abysmal same as EF performance in the league for quarters 2 and 3.....

You stole my thunder freeze. For God's sake, the umpire's 'hate' for Swans has now, even gone down to the lower grades. I really am sick of these guys screaming bias every time SDFC lose a bloody game of footy. You're right, credibility becomes zero!
