every game from now on I guess is a big game.....two 5pt losses out of our last 3 games....4 game losing streak coming up against an AFL affiliate team.....another big task ahead of the side. Good to see 3 debutants last week, be very surprised if all three don't hold their spot.....meant to be wet this Sat, be interested to see who makes way out of the big men and if the likes of Schleicher and Ellis can fight their way back in after standout reserve games v SD......Dalziell, Read, Stephen and Perham likely to come back perhaps?......

see another colt listed in the league list in the budget in Josef Hebiton, wonder if he does a Perry and gets a league debut after playing colts the week before. Obviously EP will be stronger for this game compared to our opening fixture with them.....the rain will hopefully dampen their height advantage through the likes of Johnson, Lycett and McInness......if all three play does Dodd go with Young, Bristow and Fletcher....or drop one of them and hope Chartres can help out?......can see Schleicher getting a gig if it's wet, deserves a recall after some good reserves performances.....Ellis after kicking 6 last weekend will get a recall, obviously the likes of Lester-Smith are in the gun......Boyle may stay due to the rain and his height.

I see the colts are strengthen with the return of Cronan and Snadden from last weeks state game, hopefully Delaney is fit to resume after injury too....some really good performances from a few of the lesser known colts boys in Fowler(ruck), Senna Grljusich(defence), Adamini(mid) in their absence....hopefully these boys can keep their spot because they have stepped up well and kept EF colts winning ways. Obviously 27/28 doesn't go into 23 so some boys are gonna be disappointed......

Gotta find a win some how in the league to keep in touch with the blanket of clubs between 2 - 8......could easily find ourselves back in the top 5 with a win.....good luck to Dodd and the team.

rather McGough than Boyle....at least McGough gets his hands on the footy.....especially if it's gonna be wet too......can't see how Perham can play if it's gonna be wet, will be to top heavy with Young, Bristow, Chartres, Fletcher and Perham in the side.....one of those surely won't play, probably even two?......wouldn't play Dalziel if it was wet especially with a dodgy knee and all.......for me Schleicher, Read, Locantro and Ellis to stay in the 22.....if Perham plays then Cuneo would surely be the one to drop out.....if Hebiton from the colts plays then Cuneo would still be the one to drop out......

Totally agree Freeze with all of that.I would assume with Mcgough likely to retire at seasons end Dodd is starting to look at his options inside the club before they go shopping at the end of the year.I think Perham and these types should come back through the ressies after injury if their form was poor when they went out.Certainly didnt hurt Ellis and Schleicher who dominated last week and hopefully come in full of confidence if they het a crack at it this week. Boyle and lester smith i rekon need to go back to ressies and get hands on the ball a bit. With Young also likley to retire Fletcher needs as much experience this year as he can get. I dont see us challenging this year so start preparing early for 2016

From all reports, McGough has walked out, refused to play Reserves hence "rested". I spoke with Diesel last week and his knee is rooted,he wants to return but can't run in the middle, he would purely be a forward. With Dodd making these changes, you wouldn't think he would entertain the idea.

Becoming a common theme for some who think they are above playing reserves unlike others who are being thrown to the wolves in a very ordinary side. Tough gig for those guys trying to strive for a league position.
