I took my 6 year old daughter to the game today & she really enjoyed the bouncy castles, pony rides & small animal enclosure. Well done to the Sharks for making those available for the kids today.

To be honest I was a bit worried about our chances of winning this game & my concerns were justified. West Perth made us look very ordinary today. The score flattered us somewhat as the stats show - WP had 56 inside 50s to our 32 & 69 more possessions. One positive note was that we broke even in the hit outs.

Perhaps Tyler Chalwell & Alex Howson could be given a few games to see what they can offer.

The season has been very disappointing so far & apart from the late fight back in the last quarter we were well beaten. I think we will do extremely well to even scrape into the 4.

ST reading , hearing and seeing your frustration mate.....but the likes of Brennan or Sheppard aint the answer to EF problems.....Sandi and Pav...well maybe! ;) ......Simpson and Duffy are x factor players.....that's what they are, I think Freo are trying to expand Duffy's game and fitness.....but Max aint a midfielder, he's an opportunist forward....like a Judge or a Cassidy.....if Stavros can't play him like that then send the kid to Peel to develop that role...Lyon is trying to create Max into something he is not...Simpson is young and I haven't got any probs to what he brings to EF......youth, energy and inconsistency.....when on song he's hot, when he is not he is not.....but 5 min of magic can win and lose you a game......change of game plan is needed tho, move away from this small forward line mentality.....put in some taller targets, provide a contest, yeah the likes of Howson and Chalwell won't break down packs etc....but a change of tack is needed......and soon

Pup right now EF deserve to be where they are......be interested to see if Howson FINALLY gets a go.....the kid is just as good as Wood at Subi, Johnson at WP etc...for christ sakes give him a go.....what's the bloody harm?.....when a side is relying on a midfielder to kick all your goals then you are screwed.....

good to see the colts get a win missing up to 11 of their best players.....I see Peel beat Cl in the colts, so perhaps last weeks loss to Peel wasn't that bad in the end......the reserves kick 7....then nothing for a quarter and a half and then kick away from WP.....hard to work that one out....thank fudge the reserves kicked straight though......Hooker, Howson and Chalwell all deserve a go now.....time for Stavros to put them in......

Give Young a run up back v EP on Smith, much easier to spoil a contest than make a contest coming back from injury I reckon.....all he has to do is stick a fist in Smiths way or Johnson's way or Lycetts way next week....he's big enough to compete against all three.....perhaps Dodd to Smith and Young to the resting tall....or vice versa.....

anyway Cardy was right, EF lacked those 8 goals of Dick......hopefully I'll take his banter in the right spirit and not pack up me bat and ball like I certain fisherman did on FG last year.....congrats on the win WP......deserved the win, sounded like you had EF measure from the very first bounce......must of been all those junk time goals EF kicked in the last to fatten their score line to make the contest closer than it really was....happens from time to time! ;)

might as well rush Jacob Green into the side as well mate.....Green is more than matching Acres and in the end picked up a few more possessions than Acres.....reckon the state side could squeeze in another EF boy eh BH?

Green is averaging 30 touches a game. If he doesn't get a game in the league we may never see him. Gone in the draft.

FootyFacts from the game - Hey at least it was our lowest winning score for awhile and could of been a lot closer

Ando, I reckon Green will be like Nelson and Black at WP.....big possession getters no matter what level they play, just not the right physical attributes for AFL drafting...not saying these kids are't any good, just saying Nelson and Black don't have the 'right' physical attributes for attracting AFL interest.....

strange because both boys know how to get the footy....every one wants that big mid these days, who can run, jump and kick....alas Cripps, Marsh and Jansen from EF colts....they will get drafted because they are physically 'better' than Green.....not 'footy smarts' better though....whilst not a plus for Green...certainly a plus for EFFC if the boy misses out and stays.

strono....apparently Sutcliffe was wearing a moonboot over the weekend.....not sure if it's the latest fashion or precautionary by the Freo medics....not on Freo's injury list....so make of it what you want mate....wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the kid is unavailable....Pav is still listed as an EF player thus one would assume till 2014 if was to play WAFL it would be with EF.....saying that I don't think it will happen.....more chance of Sandi donning the blue & white jumper I reckon......
