All Wafl players that are drafted pre season are fair game, but this mid season stuff is clearly wrong.

Like most things it has its good and bad points. Certainly questionable morally and ethically from a fans, club and competition point of view but from the player that is picked up by an AFL club point of view it is a wonderful opportunity.

EFFC website preview of todays game claiming this COULD  be Brynn Teakle's last game in blue and white hoops - unless he is picked up by Geelong. The coach quoted as saying that he is resigned to losing him in the AFL mid season draft.
If that info is true and it probably is, then Teakle’s game today won’t do him any harm..

The SSP draft is as much a B.S draft as the mid season draft RL......at least with the mid season a player can possibly come back and play finals....Can't do that with the SSP draft.....be nice if Strnadica, Dixon and Joyce could be available for EF if they made the finals.......

Can't remember the last time EF beat Subi in  back to back games.......obviously a good way for EF to start a new interim era at the WACA.....the side is playing with belief and Subi seem to of lost theirs. Losing Teakle will definitely hurt if he gets the nod.... nit sure it's Geelong though who are interested, think it's one of the SA clubs.   Great win considering O'Reilly missed again and likely to be out for a few more.....and Baskerville too, looks like a 4 + week layoff with a shoulder.....

Congrats to Sharks on beating the premiers and absolutely a good venue. Time clock. Mmmm. Guess it could be smaller, but not by much. Was looking forward to celebrating a great victory and maybe some presentations after the game. Nope they shut the bar almost straight after the game which was a shame for those wanting to watch the AFL and enjoy a rare victory. Some idiot said to go to the Broken Hill to have a drink. Ridiculous. No way will the club make a dollar with this setup. Not as though the WACA doesn’t have a licence that covers later hours. So lame. Early days though so many chances to make it better.

If the bar arrangement is not great ST, I hope you didn't buy a cheese burger from the food stall....$12.50 for a cold bun, meat patty, a slice of Kraft cheese and that's it...no salad, onions or anything else. Very ordinary by the WACA....oh, and congrats to the Sharks on a terrific win.  Your boys were far too good and smashed us through the middle.  Reckon you guys are on the right track.

BC, I think the cost of food was to pay for all the WACA staff there. Way over the top. My son bought some chips with gravy which would feed a pigeon for $10. Now that I think about it, paying $8.50 for a Carlton Draught can that they buy for $2.00 is probably a bit much as well. Expensive day out.

That crappy arrangement will not attract people to the footy! Certainly would not install confidence in one to want to go there, if that's the best they can do. Given Wafl attendances are poor, why can't the Waca at least make an effort?!
Going to be interesting to see the attendance figure for this match given the ease of access, supposedly great facilities, good playing surface and close proximity to the city. East Fremantle at the Waca should be having many plusses. Lets hope it doesn't fall in a heap.

Cheers Ark....been a long time coming getting back to back wins over Subi.....definitely  a step in the right direction, but kind of expected Subi to flick a switch during the match and put EF under the pump....never happened, which was a credit to EF....also a sign that perhaps Subi maybe, just maybe,  are no longer that over whelming force of the comp...where they could win from any position....time will tell.
