Well, young Jordan had 11 touches and no goals last week, in a losing side.

Jr had 12 disposals, 7 marks and 7 inside 50s. He was a handy contributor. I'm all for the pile on when he's not delivering but that was a decent effort.

I didn't say if it was or it wasn't. I was just pointing out the difficulties of coaching your own son in a comp like the WAFL along with an analogy to Poppa in the A league.

TBH that effort by Jnr was 400% better then what he was  delivering earlier in the year.....BC, hear what you are saying mate....be nice if Jnr steps up tomorrow and kicks a few.....

Big task ahead for EF tomorrow.....few more decent WAFL standard Eagles to contend with.....losing Marsh will definitely hurt, not sure what WCE will do last minute with their game on Sun....do they hold onto a few of those emergencies, just in case someone gets,injured pre game.....if not I can see Vardy and Williams definitely stretching EF height wise up front.....

Big day for Strnadica I reckon.....he will be called on to kick a few goals, as well as combat Williams and Vardy in the ruck.....Teakle is raw and skinny, but hopefully he has a big game as well......need a decent spread of goal kickers, surprised McGuire didn't get a go to provide some height, looks like EF will be taking the low ground approach with all those small - medium sized forwards. 

WCER lose Shuey but get back Zac Langdon, Jamaine Jones along with Jackson Nelson, Foley and Harry Edwards. Nelson could be the emergency but still some big in's for WCER. Where's that whinger Nesbitt now?

This doesn’t auger well for our Sharkies!!!  Going to need their very best effort on this one.

Well it will be interesting to see who turns out for West Coast today. Langdon, Jones, Nelson and Vardy are not named in their side or even listed as emergencies for that matter. Surely they cannot play but then again this is the West Coast Eagles and they do whatever the fuck they like.

Looks like it could be a bridge too far for us with Marsh, Dixon, O'Reilly, Schoenfeld, Murdock and Chalmers out. Experienced players in Lester-Smith and Snadden are thought to be not needed. Junior is elevated from the the bench to starting in a forward pocket. We seem to lack height and targets up forward for me but you never know stranger things have happened. Hopefully we can back up last weekends solid performance with a similar effort from all.

It's pretty obvious the EF tall forward cupboard is bare with Marsh, Dixon and O'Reilly out injured....not going to get any better the next few weeks.....always going to happen with a few more Eagles boys back on the park.

Does Monaghan get creative here and play the next best available tall forward at the club in Jack Williams next week.....yeah only 18, but surely he is worth a punt.....quite surprised the kid didn't play today considering EF colts didn't play....

Can anyone tell me what Kommer brings to the table each week.....I would even give young Josh Browne a crack.....both he and Williams will be drafted top 20  in Nov....farking play them whilst we can....
