Very disappointing again.  So what’s the next plan for Bill?  As Freeze said, Swans will be cock-a-hoop and I would imagine they will be looking forward to take on a slow starting Sharks team.  I was surprised that Gorringe only had 12 disposals, sounded like he was getting the ball more than that.

Not just the weather that was bleak yesterday - pretty bleak all round for the EFFC losing in all grades. Not a great day for the club summed up very well in the closing stages of the match by Kommer's comically dropped chest mark in the goal square, without an opponent within coo-ee, with the ball slipping over the goal line for a behind. Stats wise little seems to separate the sides - except for the most obvious one though, the most important one - the scoreboard!

Marsh, Baskerville and Leggett were among our best in my opinion. Eardley, as usual, and English both battled away as well. Gorringe, playing his first league game, showed he was not out of place at this level. On to Bassendean, the forecast weather wise at this stage looks much like yesterdays - hopefully we getter a better result on the field.

Wouldn't say that Swans are Cock-a-hoop 58 Shark, we have dropped the last 2 games. Should be a good clash next week between two evenly matched teams.

Shocking performance. How can this team be dishing up inconsistent performances?

How is Kommer still getting a league game. Surely you have better than him.

Surely your club will not be extending his contract? Already in talks with Sumich perhaps?
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

I thought that Snadden was clearly our best in the reserves. Although his kicking let him down at times.

JT forgot to mention half of those 12 ex AFL players didn't actually play a single game of AFL footy - Strnadica, English, Eardley, Tucker, O'Reilly and Snadden....whilst Dixon played 1 from memory.....but agree on paper and footy credentials, EF should be producing more then what they are......be interesting if Taylor was available FF2....reckon he would attract a lot interest on and off the park being the character he is.....

Agree with Cesspit re Kommer......great club character,  committed, but surely with his injury CV, age & lack of leg speed, will make way once Chalmers  and Ambrose Ryan are fit....

Yeah reckon Taylor, esp after all that happened in the mid west earlier, will stay ensconced up there.....though HT and JK would bring a lot of punters to the club if they came down to EF as a coaching combo....

The cancer is at the top.........hopefully Con Tripi can topple, Stewart and inject some youth on to the board.
As John Townsend said ‘12 ex AFL players in our team on Saturday.’ Light on for local talent.......I hope they don’t go with Sumich! I like the idea of throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Harry Taylor to coach if available!
Anyway Bill is doing his best with the talent available to him. Why Snadden is not getting a game is a mystery?
Definitely agree with throwing everything at Harry.
