Quill couldn’t get a game at EF so he went to Perth. Played League footy there. Says it all. The End
His father was a fine player for us - I remember he played a cracking game on the wing in the 1992 GF win over South. Went on to play VFL footy for Footscray too.

I believe he is TE and you can have him back if you require top-up players for you reserves.
We may not have many flags but we keep them well preserved.
Good on ya all smokes.  Do you look after your wooden spoons as well?  After all, you have more of them in your cabinet than flags.....

I guess after today's match STT, one  of us will have to suck it a tad more then the other ...let's just hope that v confusing EFFC wind sock-et is out in its full splendour for all to see as well.

What a perfect day for footy by the time the league begins 21 degrees is forecast probably not a cloud in the sky and a light west southwesterly sweeping across what should be a pleasant scene. A few changes from the side that easily accounted for the Royals and if anything they probably make the side today slightly stronger.

English will be missed but Davies is a decent inclusion though. Different types but both get their hands on the ball. Murphy, who was unlucky to be dropped for the game against the Royals, is in and Jnr who was lucky to keep his, is out. Davidson is the other out making way for Tassone - who did reasonably well in the ressies win a fortnight ago, but his inclusion is probably a slight indulgence for the coach. The side to play the Mineral Resource Demons today is.

BASKERVILLE  JUPP  MEADE

LEGGETT  McGUIRE  EARDLEY

BOEKHORST  JANSEN  SCHOENFELD

BOCKMAN  O'REILLY  LESTER-SMITH

KOMMER  DIXON  MARSH

STRNADICA  BENNETT  MURDOCK

DAVIES  MURPHY  SNADDEN  TASSONE

Certainly a stronger side than the one that lost narrowly in this fixture last season - Baskerville, McGuire, Meade, Schoenfeld, O'Reilly, Dixon, Marsh and Kommer did not turn out last year. Our opponents, I think, have 9 new faces from that match. No idea if they are collectively an improvement on the players they are replacing - we should have a clearer picture by 5 pm though.

That looks probably like the strongest line up you guys have had for a long time with some good additions Marsh, Dixon, O'Reilly and Schoenfeld.

We've lost Logan McDonald (AFL) and McInness from our forward line from last year so that's a big hole to fill but the addition of Haydn Busher somewhat offsets the loss of McInness but it will be interesting to see what impact he has playing his first game of the year but it will be great to see Haydn Busher back in Perth colours.

Andrew Fisher is a big in but again, his first game of football for the year. Dalton Langlands was a big name recruit who is yet to fire but he has shown what he is capable of in patches. We need a big lift from him and hopefully last weeks rest will do Masto the world of good who has battled on manfully on one leg the last two games and probably still been our best player.

Josh Smith was our other big name recruit who was close to BOG in round one but we wont see him for another 6 - 8 weeks sadly. You guys go in as favourites but it's a must win game for us.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Bookies have finally framed a market for this one. Sharks $2.10 Demons $1.72. Line is 4.5 points.

Yeah look not trying to rub it in but that was a predictable result.

PFC is just a little bit further along the way than EFFC.

And of course PFC is not coached by 🐃🐃🐃.
You called it before the match, I was somewhat skeptical I will confess. But easy victories for both your reserves and league sides so hard to make a case otherwise.

Pressure point number 1 for Bill, but surely the players need to explain wtf is happening?
