This year also royal2019 as Morton would not be playing for you if not for the alignment. As an ex-Claremont player he would have automatically returned to Claremont. The WAFC sat back and waited until both yourself and Peel recruited then brought in restrictions on recruiting.
Any East Perth player is welcome at Claremont next year if they're unhappy.
That said, all the best on the weekend.

Markets are finally up.

C $1.67 EP $2.15 Centrebet
C $1.72 EP $2.10 Sportsbet
C $1.65 EP $2.13 TAB

Nice prices about Claremont. No value for EP fans.

I was expecting at least $2.75 for EP. Big shift from last week considering they offered $4.40 on WP v C.

Lol now there's a surprise, Strono's an EP and Alignment hater. Oh well at least one of us will be happy come Sunday arvo.

Wasn't it great to see Cripps sing the EP team song with such gusto and happiness after the SD victory last week.

I hope you don't choke on your EF moth balls over breakfast. :P

Claremont is the last team that should complain they have had a plethora of AFL listed players every year. Home grown or not the advantage of having full time professional athletes against semi professionals is enormous. This WAFL is inequitable it always has been and from next year it goes to a ridiculous level. Blame your presidents for thinking they had a say in WA football and trying to dictate to the AFL clubs. The AFL clubs have bank rolled our comp for years stop living in the seventies.

its the same old repetitive, regurgitated stuff here. cannot have a converstaion on any ep thread regarding anything. dont know why you ep fellas bother trying.
even a good topic gets turned into pure nastiness, then the subject matter deteriorates into a shambles. few more weeks to go and thats it for me. i understand the feelings of others, but why try & contribute, seriously. its not worth it one bit.

good luck to both teams tomorrow. hopefully a good contest. the Cardies will be waiting with claws out. either way a good grand final looms next sunday, being positive.

Never argue with a fool Jardine people from a distance may not be able to tell the difference. The attitudes of some on here is just a reflection of why the WAFL has been crippled. Backward thinking, insular and self serving. Good luck East Perth the competition needs a grand final with a few people at it.

Couldnt agree more ....
Sadly I dont post anymore (most wont care I would guess)due to the self congratulating posters, the sad banter from the pugalistic commenters and the fact that as I read it I see continued ingnorance of new posters or belittling comments on new members posts - no wonder the same crew belt each other up week after week here as the did on a previous site.

Good luck to both teams tomorrow and for who ever makes it to the GF to oppose us - WP
Its going to be a battle 'royal' - and thats a whopper with cheese - french style!!

I hope you reconsider Growler and Jardine as I think the site needs many posters with different points of view who can challenge the people that you refer to above. Like a lot of people on this site I was angry when the alignment was announced, but it was tempered by the feeling that something had to be done because our WAFL competition really wasn't viable the way that it was heading.

As well as this, the East Perth posters who have come on here, particularly Jardine, Growler, Chaddy, Grump and Clear-view have made it clear on many occasions that they were not comfortable with the alignment with the Eagles, so I think some have been unfair by taking out their frustrations on those people who I consider true WAFL supporters. I commend them for hanging in here as long as they have.

What I am trying to say is that the more people who come on here and contribute, the better the level of debate will be.

Growler you really need to reconsider your decision to stop posting here mate. As mikeh said the more the merrier, folk are always gonna disagree, some do it with insults and bitterness, others with passion and delusions of grandeur, whilst others with wit and banter. Ignore the rubbish boys, come end of the day EP are in the 2013 prelim.....with only a handful of WCE listed guys......big deal, the rest are EP locals or recruits.......no different to EF last year having Stevens, Brown and Sutcliffe in their finals run plus McGough, Obrien X2 etc

I think next year with a good % of EP going to be AFL boys playing than i can see why folk have the hump, but this year its a minority TBH!......keep on punching boys.......i genuinely reckon Cl will win tomorrow purely because they have two decent talls to match EP.......something SD lacked last weekend.......midfields,forwards and defences are pretty similar......the talls will be the deciding factor......go out and enjoy the game boys, dont let a few misfits stop u from posting.......christ imagine a life with only delusional PFC fans and umpire hating SDFC fans...........it would be a nightmare for all concerned... :(
