I thought EP were playing SD this sunday?...... correct me if I'm wrong, but unless Swegden you think 6 WCE players count as team of 22 these days........then in 2013 EP still do exist.....in 2014 with predominantly 99% of it's team from WCE, then yeah EP are no more! ........

The reality is there is only 4 non past East Perth players representing the club this week.
Cripps, Wilson, Morton and Lycett.
Only 1 of the 4 is named in a key position.
Selwood has represented EP since 2003.

A lot of hype over 4 players.

The bookmakers at Centrebet aren't falling for it. SD $1.67 EP $2.15

Would tend to agree somewhat with you on this one clear-view. Had a look back at the previous two encounters this season on the WAFL website and the best players for East Perth were listed as follows:

May 18 at Bassendean
J.Oakley-nicholls, C.Wulff, J.Smith, B.Lee, M.Fraser

July 20 at Leederville
P.Johnson, B.Lee, J.Smith, M.Fraser

So no Eagles in that lot. The only thing I would say is that the four Eagles coming in on Sunday are replacing the 19th - 22nd best East Perth players so there is a massive increase in the quality of the side.

The other thing for Harding to note is that he may need to keep an eye on Lee, Smith and Fraser!!

AFL players impacting WAFL finals is nothing new.

You only have to go back to last years 1st semi EF v EP. I remember EF gained M Brown, J Griffen and K Stevens from the AFL who didn't play for EF the week before.

On the other hand EP lost Z Clarke and J Pitt to the AFL after playing for EP the week before. EF won by 5 or 6 goals. Swap the scenario around and the result might have been different.
