Sad to see Aidan pull the pin.He was a great servant of the club and clearly made a good impression for the 2 years he was at the Royals.I think his biggest attribute was his tackling which leads me to what I believe is EP’s best chance against CL this weekend. We all know pressure acts go up a notch during finals but I firmly believe that’s what won us the GF last year.To wrack up 90 plus tackles is pretty extraordinary in any game let alone a GF.We smothered CL and thy couldn’t get any flow into their game plan. They were still good enough to get close but I don’t think they are playing at that level at the moment. Some of the EP boys have posted that the last few rounds have not been as intense as the middle of the season performance wise.Whilst I agree last Saturday for half a quarter you blew us away.I don’t think WP slackened off - you guys just went up a level higher than what you had been performing before.OK you have to play for more than 15 minutes but if McQueen can get your head right CL simply  succumb when extended pressure is applied.I think that’s your best chance.

Forgot to ask.Do you guys think your lesser performances have coincided with Crowden’s unavailability? I think he’s vital to winning on the weekend especially with his tackling skills so does anyone know how he’s travelling availability wise?

The Injury Hub on the WAFL website lists Crowden as 2-3 weeks away with his ankle.  Not sure how old this info is though...

Thanks BB.Just looked at the WAFL listings and they seem reasonably updated - at least the WP one is.Maybe Crowden will be struggling to make it which is a shame. With EP not having a tall forward line( although Schofield does a good job) they rely on their midfield to provide as many opportunities as possible to score. That’s why they have a good spread of goal kickers .Bonomelli can score but is inconsistent for mine.Anyway should be a reasonably close gain especially if the weather isn’t great.

Mrs Ness while your here, did your investigative eye witness the supposed strike Jacob Msando inflicted on Murray which saw him receiving a 3 week penalty??Ive just seen the first quarter replay and saw nothing there,as well as no noticeable harm to Murray or remonstrations by his team mates, and Msando is a clean player who as far as I’m aware has never been suspended, and the worst part about this baffling suspension,he’s alleged to have struck Murray with an open hand for F.sake.!!!

3 weeks for Msando - truly astonishing. Also Robertson outed previously for a week from the EF game when that little maggot Eardley didn't cop anything but 50m for his gutless and crude act in the same game!

The way I saw it there was high contact,it was forceful and Murray was stunned for a while.I was pretty surprised with 3 weeks because I have seen a lot worse. The grading system they have would put it a high end action to get 3 weeks and I couldn’t see that.It would seem they would not have taken any exemplary record into consideration either.Seems a bit stiff.

Thank you Mr Ness, one would suspect that the victim of contact that resulted in a 3 week penalty, would have to been knocked off his feet,or required a trainers assistance to be taken off the ground for some medical assessment,so from your vantage point the penalty was excessive, and apologies for the typing error in the initial post which had me addressing you as Mrs,as it was not my intention to besmirch your impeccable character.

Well Mr Ness, I believe in this LGBTQ friendly world you could operate undercover sporting a Mohawk and wearing a dress and nobody would batter an eyelid.I also believe the randy bald Spanish soccer president, wouldn’t be in as much hot water for planting a kiss on lips of his tall muscular tattooed countrywoman,if he performed his pash while wearing a skirt.
