I heard somewhere so dont take it as a fact that Clang has gone on leave over to Blighty to watch the ashes series, so would not be back before the end of the season and then who knows

Must be about 10 players missing from last years Premiership team. A year is a long time in WAFL footy. Kudos to the new coach for giving young guys opportunities and integrating them into the team.

Agree Singha, there are 8 relative newbies in tonights team, certainly played less than 20 games, Braut, Cleggett, EB, Atkinson, Borchet, Leach, Stainsby & Vermeersch. All these boys have been around the club for sometime and done plenty of time in the ressies so have been well and truly entrenched in the clubs culture which shows in the way they are playing their footy. The real standouts of that group for me are Braut, a big bustling defender who has some pace and a bit of mongrel, Leach who is as hard at the contest and anyone I've seen and a tackling machine, and Borchet who is becoming a real classy forward with a good kick, a massive leap and good hands. Cleggett (the bald avenger) reminds me of Walters, not a particularly "fashionable" player but attacks every contest fearlessly.

We are getting there regarding local content 14 of the 22 or 64%, i think we will see that increase sooner than later given the Subi oval revenue stopped a couple of years ago and the two recent trading losses. Still the most financially sound club in the comp but that money is there to ensure the financial security of the club, like Perths set aside money is there for.

Not a bad effort and the thing that gave me most encouragement was that we had no real standouts other than Sokol. I was impressed by our entire backline once again as they are the mainstay of our success. Vermeersch, Cleggert and Walters all good and Dela started well but tapered off a bit. I must say that if that fella Rodgers for Perth practised his acting a bit more he might be up for a Logie....I'd vote for him and obviously the umpires would as well given the frees that paid him for throwing his head in the air when tackled....obviously is a student of Schloithe and Selwood. Also how Bennell got a state game is beyond me...the guy is a liability..anyway...enough of them. A good win with a week and a half rest.

Average performance at best BC, but we still won by 10 with half the the team out. Simpleton spalding I cant understand, they are hanging on in the 5 by the skin of their balls with a ds percentage and he plays a kid on Sokol and leaves him there. There's a time and place for things but I'm sure that wasn't one of them

I thought they were alright too -- superior kicking to position getting us over the line. Well done to delahunty on having close to the most possessions on the ground. One can see how Perth has managed to win eight games, as their midfield was very competitive indeed throughout the match.

Agreed on Rogers, I’m thankful that Subi doesn’t have a head thrower like him. Very ordinary effort by Sinclair to line up and clean up in the back a defenceless player. Sinclair had no intention of anything other than flattening him. Pissweak

SS, BC, DG and Singha. The Four Horseman of the WAFL Apocalypse.

Conquest, War, Famine, Death.

I'm pretty sure we are at the famine stage now. Only death to come.
