As an aside...does anyone know what's happened to Kyle Halligan? He came back for one ressies game which he didn't finish and hasn't been included in our injuries list. Buddy Boy?

A good win today...I predicted 4 goals and wasn't far off the mark.. Dela was huge and the usual suspects vey good. Let's not talk about the umps as it takes the focus off a pretty good performance.

Cheers Leedy...thats very magnanimous of you which is surprising as usually you'd be on here having a crack at the umpies, my footy club as cheats, the WAFC, our boot studders, Donald Trump and anyone else you can think of...but hey...I'll take your kind words at face value.

Delahunty would get a game in our 1986 side, similar to a player such as Rod Willet.

As good a player Spinner was back then AR, I reckon Dela would have him well and truly covered with his size, athleticism and ability to play in a variety of roles.

BC: yep, I agree 100 per cent; his efforts in the PA grand finals were magnificent and we would have lost by a lot more without him

The only area that Spinner would have Dela covered is in goal kicking, but Dela seems to be addressing that in recent weeks. Leedy is on the money re Dela, 3 BOG's in a row plus plenty of games where he will get minor votes. His flexibility is second to non and he has one of the biggest tanks in the comp, shame he's now a bit long in the tooth as he would be a great pick up at AFL level, could play as a tall wingman ala Richo for Richmond.

Didin't get to the game, just too far away from York and no protection up there. If BC or others can give us a detailed review it would be appreciated. Sounds like a pretty even match apart from when we got away a bit in the 3rd, apart from that it was nearly goal for goal all day. We did have a lot more scoring shots and inside 50's, was our inaccuracy just poor kicking or good pressure from Joondy?
