The WAFC has already indicated that by not charging kids anything for the GF.

I presume the medal presentation won't be shown on Channel 7 if Peelmantle win or will they have special applause tape running in the background?

Would be a laugh if 20 000 of those BigFooty Freo posters turned up to watch Peel play in the GF.....would definitely be a bitter pill for the anti alignment oz footy crew to swallow.......surely a GF crowd of 20 000 odd would mean the WAFL is alive and kicking!.....that would be a good thing hey fella's?

And if the attendance is 8,673 for the WAFL GF what does that say about the health of the WAFL Freezin?

That life has moved on mate....we are no longer living in the 70s and 80s where the WAFL was the be all and end all of a WA footy lovers existence. .......seems to me 42 you are hoping for that 8673 crowd figure just to prove your point......tell me this mate, if a Peel - Subi GF brought in 20 000 punters would you be happy?....seems to me you would be pissed off big time, which is strange considering you come across as an ardent supporter of the WAFL.....mate if I was back home in Perth I'd be attending......fark I miss my footy....

The days of even 20,000 at a WAFL grand final are gone unless there are a perfect set of circumstances come together like a great rivalry such as a Derby GF (yes you Freo nutters I will give you bragging rights as the real derby) or a rare and long overdue appearance by Perth against a great crowd pulling rival like SD or WP coupled with great weather and not clashing with an AFL final.

But realistically I reckon 12 - 15,000 is about as much as you could expect these days however, and Subi fans don't want to hear this, BUT the rest of the WAFL supporters are sick to death of seeing your club playing in grand finals and winning most of them. Hence you get your 8 - 10,000 figures now for a granny.
Get on your bike.

I see the wooden spooners are stalking our thread again, BH hitting the "thankyou" button every chance he gets, he's like that cowardly mate that stands a safe distance away from a fight hurling abuse.

What tosg fails to understand is that Swans' supporters have had other periods where we have struggled to win many games in a season. We understand we had a bad season; not our first and it could be our last as there is a very strong possibility that the WAFL competition won't be around for much longer. And yes if the WAFL folds that means that Subiaco won't be able to win anymore WAFL GFs either. Of course Subiaco could join the WAAFL but they should understand that you can't pay players in the WAAFL. So before TOSG gloats too much on Swans' poor season he might pause and reflect that unless we, the WAFL community, provide an united front and push for the abolition of the host club alignment there won't be a WAFL competition for Swans to win another wooden spoon.

So if the WAFL does go under Subiaco will finish up with a clean record and Swans will forever be known as
1- Drug cheats
2- Salary cap cheats
3- Player points cheats

And you blame Subiaco for damaging the WAFL

I blame this Subiaco guy above for scaring away the WAFL's potential future fans even more so than Peel!
