From what I understand, JJ Woodley is in the 22 for his debut this week. Good luck young fella. Lots of talent and a good decision maker. Not a massive possession winner but Usually something good happens when he gets the ball and as he spends more time up the ground he will become a more prolific accumulator I'm sure. And with 21.6 in the ressies this season he is sharp around the big sticks.

Good to see young JJ Woodley make his debut his family will be absolutely over the moon.Talented young player who has a few tricks.

La Hincha... By a twist of coincidence I caught up with Gary Kemp over the weekend and he did confirm that he is related to a big Noongar family(Collard)by his paternal Great Grandfather who was a Collard. However the Great Grandfather was not of Aboriginal descent and Gary 's maternal family are not Aboriginal. Thus making the Kemps not of Aboriginal descent. Confusing I know.

We certainly enjoyed the chat and reminiscing though it was a good night.

Dwert...I hope he recounted putting Peter Higgins over the fence in the 88 GF...that's one which has stuck in my memory for a while. Kemp was wrestling with someone near the boundary line down in the right hand pocket of the city end at Subi Oval and Higgins tried to get a cheap shot in but Kempy saw him coming and literally threw him over the fence. From memory Higgins had to go off the ground afterwards due to tearing a ligament in his finger or similar and had little influence on the game from then onwards.
