Ben if Hassett is out and Chambers then we have a few points to spare but this late in the season not much chance of snaring anyone ???

I think we'll be like most other clubs this year - We didn't get the top line recruits we were after ???

Subi has struggled the last 5 years to get the best from over east like we use to.
Just goes to show the points system is working for the 7 non-aligned clubs - Now the problem in the next few years will be to make sure the Peel Dorkers and Royal Weagles don't get too strong !!!

There was talk late last year of Yeo coming over from the Sharks - Does anyone know what's happened there ? I gather he must be staying now and was just testing the waters ???

Yeah, unless we can get a real gun at this late stage I'd rather go with what we have instead of getting a dud to fill the points quota.

I might be wrong but I get the feeling they're going to play Chambers regardless of his training attendance. I'm just guessing though.

One thing's for sure, we'll be playing four quarters of footy instead of 2 and a half this year. The boys are super fit compared to last year. Apparently it's been a grueling pre-season.

Hopefully the first round of scratch matches start on Feb 16 but no confirmation yet. But normally some of the clubs play 4 scratchies, so that date would be about right for some of the clubs at least.

See he got runner-up in their Fairest & Best and still didn't get a AFL look-in.

If he comes back we get the best of both worlds - a top WAFL player for only 1 point !!! But i suppose all the other clubs would swoop on a player like Cock ???

I don't think we'll be seeing Adam back for a while. He's really happy in Melbourne from what I was told.

The good thing is, we know Sheed is going to get drafted, so we can plan in advance. Handy to have 10 points in the bank for 2014 in case none of the big points players leave between now and then. We'll need a good replacement because I expect him to be one of the midfielders of the comp this year when WA 18's commitments allows.
