Terrible bad luck for young Hayden. Footy is a f%#ker of a game sometimes . From a purely selfish point of view, I was looking forward to watching him play. 

On another matter,  on wafl world, the claim was made that Hayden Kennedy retired due to a vaccine injury of some sort.  Hope I'm not spreading misinformation by reporting this.

Frothy, I think that will happen but with Mayo and Borch not quite ready he will have to be Mr fixit. He should be at halfback or an occasional run on the ball to put the frightners into the opposition mids. The 4 in the middle looks very good with Clarke, Schoey, Kitch and Hickmont but Hayden would have been a big dob of icing on the top but not this year. Having big Wagens and Clarke resting up in the pocket may prove a handful for the Perth defenders.

Can't see McGowan playing another reserves game after that. Thilstrop is a talent. No doubt about that. Subi unpassable at half back. Schofield promising. Hitchcock? Brings a bit of pace. Ash looks to have improved. salvigni continues his. New fullback neat player. New ruckman a good competitor. Very raw.
