There is the problem for Australia, which is why Paine is the current captain and will remain so for at least this series, the fact that your have rasied Shaun Marsh's name and bloke can't get into double figure says it all.

Arron Finch is a captain and a great player at the shorter game.Not sure he's a test batsman.Maddinson scored 159 today as an opener.Only against a cosmopolitan Warrior's attack.But has to be looked at for the Perth Test.

True about the West Australian attack, although Richardson has played Test cricket and Marsh has taken test wickets.

gtr I would have thought that describing Finch's shot this morning would involve rusty old gate and agricultural.

AR I would think that a certain former fast bowler from NSW would be hoping to add another scalp from WA by the name of S Marsh.

It was a beautiful ball that bowled him.Terrible shot 3 balls in against a world class fast bowler.

gtr....for a test opener that should of been a forward defensive shot with bat and pad close together....surely Finch watched what happen to India's top order boys reckless shot selection on day 1..Pujara's innings summed up what was needed....Finch has done fark all since the Paki tests...scored nothing in either of his ODI and T20 innings....if JL says runs are currency no matter the format....then Finch is bankrupt......just find it amazing the mind set of some folk....
