The pace of Sayers, or rather the lack of it has been a reason put by Lehmann before regarding his non selection previously. Not a good look when one of your opening bowlers has the keeper standing up at the stumps.

Unfortunately for the fella a pair on debut to go with a fairly average bowling display would suggest he may have a limited future at Test level along with the likes of S.Marsh, Handscomb and others.

Thank Christ it's over - time for a complete nut & bolt overhaul of the system , blokes like Dan Hughes , Jake Weatherald , Darcy Short , Kurt Patterson , Mitch Swepson , Ashton Turner , Jake Lehmann have to be given a form of opportunity

.....hopefully the players aren't too mentally cooked to forget to cash their match fees....only Cummins and Paine deserve to cash theirs.... interesting to see Lehmanns last innings is another batting collapse.....how in hell is the next coach is going to pick a squad for the UAE after that "performance".....who in hell would want the job....a great series up until day 3 of the 3rd test... unravelled pretty quickly after that.
