he has bowled about 10 overs for the series, do we need someone that can bowl or do we need someone that can bat?

That was only after yet another send off from Rabada PH, he may be a great fast bowler but he's thick as shit

He could be a Fremantle supporter

Oh dear, I suppose by applying that logic Warner is in line to Fremantle's next number 1 ticket holder.

ph: good question -- we need someone whom can make a century against good bowlling at number six. We only won the first test because M Marsh batted well in that very position. The fact that he can bowl a bit as well, for me, at least, is just fortunate for us.

I think the requirement for a genuine bowling all rounder (in particular when on a overseas tour) becomes more of a requirement the longer you get into the series.
Would have thought that the bowling workload for Mitch Marsh would increase in tests 3&4 as opposed to 1&2, certainly with more overs into Starc, Hazelwood and Cummins and the need for them to have someone to give them more of a spell.

Surprise, surprise. Rabada's ban has been overturned. His charge was downgraded from a level 2 to a level 1 which allows him to play despite him being a serial offender. Maybe they can hold over the ban till when they play the West Indies or Zimbabwe. This has reduced the ICC "code of behavior" to a complete joke and not worth the paper it's written on. Maybe Warner should have appealed his sanction.
At least if the Aussies win the series now, they know they will have deserved it

Rather beat the Saffies with Rabada playing mikeh....no doubt put him under the pump and he will offend again....the Aust batsmen just need to stand up and convert these starts into better scores...if Bancroft is going to keep on making 20-30s with the odd 50 here and there, then he needs to be farked off pronto.... Warner needs to get angry with his bat, just think the cricket ball is Quintons face......be interesting to see if Sayers plays if it is a green top....Starc has a dodgy ankle apparently..... Hazlewood needs to step up, whilst Cummins needs to match the feats of Rabada and bowl fast and full.....could be a crucial toss to win....think Smith is due a toss loss....

Rabadas dismissals where quiet commen in the 1970's and 80's.Nothing wrong in my book let's just call play.

Problem with seeing Quinton's face as the cricket ball he will be swinging like a rusty gate.

Pretty predictable resolution from the ICC ("Indian" Cricket Council) once there was an appeal.

As a few of the other boys have posted- fair bump, play on...time to get on with this game now!
