Interesting your the only one to name Todd BC, not sure I'd have him in there but then again.

Toddy had a way bigger impact on footy in this state than Stephen Michael

Not sure about that, apart from his short career at SFFC winning a Sandover at a young age. Oh yeah and the 97 premiership...lol

thanks: the reason I asked was that, apparently, Kevin Murray, ratted Todd very highly -- the best he had seen, Victoria included.

John Todd , for a 16 year old playing league football in a shall we say tough competition , had an incredibly long kicking distance & sheer accuracy over that given it was mainly dropkicking - remarkable for someone so young

no real way to compare either to each other given the era & make up

And of course after their respective playing careers finished what was their involvement in WA football?
John Todd-
6 x Premiership Coach (1974, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1990, 1997) from 7 GF's
2 x Australian Championship Winning Coach (1983, 1984) Coached WA-14 games
1 x AFL Final Coach WCE 1st Club Final (1988)
Australian Coach vs Ireland (International Rules) 6 games (1984, 1986)
Coached 36 Finals Matches (35-WAFL, 1-AFL)

Michael for me, he had a massive impact on the game and really was the prototype modern player.

TI was a great player I agree but not sure about a statue for him at the new stadium when he hasn't even been inducted as a Legend in the WAFL Hall of Fame.

Yep totally different , but by all accounts from family members Todd was a the best they had seen, even hampered by the leg brace, without that injury he would of gone to the VFL for sure.
