No doubt the President will cop it in the neck .For not attending the 100th anniversary of the completion of WW1.And he deserves to get criticism. But fake news continues about Trump not expecting to win in 2016 .And having no victory speech on election night.Hillary Clinton did not consede defeat for 48 after election day.Thats why he didn't do a victory speech.

Fox News in meltdown in response to Macron's Armistice Day speech. The speech was a very powerful, poignant and pointed speech.

Swan 42 Macron needs to realise that the world does not need or want a European Army. Norway has already said it will never join such a thing, loyal to NATO.

Only an ill advised Frenchman would consider a European Army which was predominantly manned by Germans, and in fact had, to be manned by Germans because they have the biggest population in Europe and because France has defence commitments in the Pacific and Africa.

What I can't work out is I regularly read about threats between Russia and the US and the US has many sanctions against the Russian state but both leaders are loath to criticise one another and show each other a lot of respect. That has to be a good thing but of course the Trump haters will always find a cynical view point.
