One would have thought that given the debacle on Saturday and the tenuous hold the Morrison government has one would have thought that the last thing that the Liberals would have done would be to show hubris in Kerryn Phelps's first day in parliament.

He is an unmitigated joke. For the record the Greens received 8.75% of the Legislative Council first preference votes (thus far) compared to Derryn Hinch's Justice Party 3.72%. In the lower house the Green's 9.85% to Derryn Hinch's Justice Party 0.26%.

Perhaps Paul Murray should address how a 19 year old Labor Candidate who spent $1,750 in a 6 week campaign and achieved a 47.17 2pp compared to the 2014 result ALP 40.23 to Liberals 59.77.

If the Federal Liberal party are still not listening to the message that the Electorate has given them in Wentworth and now Victoria, they are even more arrogant than I thought they were and they will be falling off a cliff into oblivion in around 6 months.
Dysfunction and disunity is death and it may be that they need 6 years in opposition to sort out their internal battles.

Absolutely beyond me why a hardliner commie like Swan would even come to pay the all evil Murdoch money to watch a channel he hates and spends all day bagging, then even better he watches FOX NEWS , Trumps cheer squad apparently and hates it ..yet pays to watch it.
