You’d think they’d announce if Monaghan was leaving at B&F tonight.

Apparently 4 days after the Grand Final, Monaghan has been sacked and not offered an extension which is a bit of a shock. Monaghan had a strained working relationship with Hamersley which would have been difficult.
That currently leaves 3 clubs of West Perth, East Fremantle and Subiaco looking fo a coach.

Four clubs, WAG, East Perth is also looking for a coach.
There will be more moves than a chessboard when it comes to the off-season coaches' reshuffle.
It would be interesting to know why West Perth has parted ways with Bill Monaghan given his great record with the Falcons.

Sorry Archie - forgot that east perth will / should be reforming. That HUGE task is a story on it's own.
Going to be interesting to see what happens with those chessboard moves over the off season.
Probably a number of factors why Monaghan was not offered the extension. The unhealthy working relations with the Manager for whatever reason would have been a contributor I would have thought

From a diehard Royal's perspective, I'm glad the real East Perth has returned after years trapped in the Weagles wilderness.

Yes, I think we're going to have quite a few interesting moves in the WAFL off season, particularly with the senior coaching vacancies that have opened up.

Grumps you do remember the big deal that East Perth made when he come over to us, if he had such a pea size heart as you say, why did they make such a big song and dance when he wanted to shift camps?

Bit tardy with a response but yep recall it quite clearly and the reasons behind it, EP wanted as much as they could get, no song and dance measly return, I watched and helped him all through his development process
and yep when HE wants he plays well but as soon as he got a smack, told to do something etc etc he fell in a hole. Monaghan may have got him to grow up and good on him but at the end of the day from what i saw and others saw (AFL recruiters) he is a sook!

Why does WP have its own site on here? Needs to be rebadged WPFootballCommission surely?
