Here we go again. We were back to our best last week which would support the case of the overload of work Bill gave the boys during the bye week to leave us heavy legged from all reports. We have lost our last nine games v SF the last being a 98 point hiding. I firmly believe this will be a close game but very very tough for our young defence to contain Souths lively forwards.

I saw Souths in the last qtr on my way home from Joondalup and they looked pretty good and a tad unlucky not to get a few crucial kicks by the maggots. If our mids can break even at best it will halve the supply they got in the Qualifying Final and make it a tight contest.

The weather for match day is looking ok. Partly cloudy, with southerly winds and a maximum temperature said to be 20º

Yeh Leedy gonna be a tough assignment for the boys, the game should be closer than last time, well I hope so as the last attempt was embarrassing, Souths are a good side with a few hardened experienced players, we need to be on song from the first bounce.

It will be a different West Perth mindset that rocks up this week. They'll put the previous game behind them.
I'm still tipping South Fremantle by approx 3 or 4 goals.
But I wonder what happens in the event of a drawn match? With the late start time, how much extra time would be played i wonder?
With the Fine weather tipped for the weekend, should see a bumper crowd of over 5000 I'd think.

Have noticed South Fremantle are paying $1.28c for a win.
And West Perth are quoted at $3.75c for the win.

I hope you made that bet Leedy.....congrats on the win guys....considering all the rubbish u guys have had off field of late, great effort by your on field team to stay focused and get the job done....big ask next week...but hey if any team can do it, WP current lot definitely have the character to do it.....can't believe SF have fallen short again in the prelim....must be very frustrating for their fans......especially with no over paid professional alignment to blame either...this time SF got rolled by a team of semi professionals on 4 cents in the dollar....good job by Stryk too up front....
