42 has said a few times this year he's almost had enough..

For all the SD supporters, which player among the Key Forwards had the most talent?

Simon Beasley had the best Vfl\Afl career. The best imo that I seen play was Gary Sidebottom. Big,fast .aggressive. Scored big goals in pressure situations. Played some blinders in Soo v the VIcs.But the Blacksmith did give some really crazy moments. Lol.

Did Bagley shape-shift at some time?

I can only remember him as a (bloody good) centre half back - in fact he made the Swans Team of the Century as a HBF.

87/127 ........... clearly a backman. :)

And that was in 230 games.

Bagley was CHB in the 1961 and 1962 GFs, CHF in 1963, and in the middle for 1965 (his move out of the middle at 3/4 to cover injuries allowing Neesham into the game - and we know what happened). A true utility player.

Most talented forward for Swans? - Mark Olsen by a street.

Is that right SH.
I deliberately didnt answer that query as I am not old enough to have seen the 60s & most of the 70s lads so would be unfair on them.

A bit tongue in check BH, for the caveat is whether Olsen used his talent consistently enough. But never, even when your name's sake kicked 100 goals in 1981, have I seen a player kick totals of 13, 13 (in three quarters), 11 and a few other high figures in 1978 and 1979. His 9 in a half against a might strong SF side in 1978 still begs description.
