correct gtr...in addition to the decapitation from memory one Swans boy had his legs pulled off like a grasshopper, another received a splenectomy in the goal square whilst a third had his head twisted all the way around like Linda Blair in the Exorcist....and the bloody maggots missed the lot !!.

No quiet what I remember. The Subi push in the back goal, caught red handed holding the ball and the decapitation.

What agenda would Townsend have? The facts of what happened in the Grand Final are pretty clear and undisputed. The apparent lack of sanctions for the breach is a matter for the WAFC to explain which they have failed to do in that appalling press release on Monday.

Not sure why he would have an agenda, mikeh. And not disputing the facts of the what actually happened in the GF but he is quoting unfactual statements about the coaches quitting due to the events of that game.

Interesting radio interview on 91.3 this morning with Glen Mitchell who called the Colts match on Ch7 where he remarked that Ablett (who was a Special Comments man on the broadcast) even mentioned during the call that $ubi had put extra numbers behind the ball.
Wasnt Ablett the one who came up with Colts coaching guidelines and reinforced only last Friday before the game that they were to be followed or consequences included the sack?
Also mentioned that $ubi were given a warning at the 16 minute mark of the last qtr for a 2 & 3 offence.
One wonders if they are not scrambling around Ch7 as we speak having both the footage and audio of the game deleted otherwise there could be even more egg on the faces down there at Roberts Rd....well for those still left and are not on the afl gf junket in Melbourne (how opportune a time to get out of town)!!!

gtx....what about all those missed opportunities and the plethora of inside 50s SD had earlier in the game over Subi?.....SD should of been well in front before the last stanza.......but hey 3 -4 bad decisions by the umps is all some folk remember in an 80 min plus game of footy......players make bad decisions too......why aren't you voicing those too....stop pointing the finger at a selective few......pretty sure the umps weren't totally responsible for SD not scoring more than they should done with all those inside 50s.....yet I have no doubt the umps, Ablett, the Subi FC and the WAFC were to blame there......
