It might be of some interest to see if there is any news posted on Swans's site today.

Perhaps someone may be reprising the Michael J Fox back to the future scenario.

Only two year contract? Unusual for a new coach.

Lol are you Swans boys having a sulk here? Been announced a couple of hours already. No topic put up to welcome Adam Pickering. Hope Pickers gets some wins on the board early in 2018 or it could be a long two years.

For what it's worth I loved his approach when in charge of the Perth two's a few years ago, he's a bit more old school doesn't mind giving a spray but also motivating. Good luck to him I think he will grow on the Swans faithful and win a few fans over. As I think LB or some EP supporter said he'll probably bring a few Royals boys with him.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

happy to give him a go and heard good things and we needed a change.
certainly we need a coach with a different game plan and view on things..
players from other clubs cost money so cant see it being anyone of note.

No sulk here, im rapt at the decision. Been successful in his roles so far and will bring new ideas to us. His sure to conduct himself on match day better than the colts coach. Now that was a bad decision.

Not sure why others seemed to be angry at the decision. Is it because he is not a local?

You seem to have your finger on the pulse down there Davo. Is it fair to say some of the coaching down at Swans has been unprofessional across the grades. Coaches in thongs etc.
