Could be right Oool, he seemed to have the magic touch of taking a good team and turning them in rubbish.
Just shows that great players dont always translate into good coaches, perhaps conversely you dont need to be an experienced WAFL or AFL player to be a good coach, time will tell, but i dont think Wardman will be tinkering much with an established very succesfull football system and culture at Subi.

His WAFL record at both Perth and East Fremantle was terrible and who knows if he ever did get the Subiaco gig his first genius recruiting move would be to get George Hampson back.

Oool, poor old George, wonderfully talented and brave player, I will forever remember his 3rd qtr heroics in the '14 GF but his obvious self admiration has not helped his case, I really hope we can see a different George up at Bogundean, if so he will be a massive plus for the Bombo boys, but time will see.
