Falc it is not even the oppositions best players Subi have been poaching off the others it is their rivals most promising youngsters (WA 18s, 16s members) who do not get drafted as well eg Baker, Sokol, Matera, Fimmano, Nelson, Polak etc which in reality would have been the reason they got Lockyer there with his intimate knowledge of the State juniors and being able to entice them over, in which it also then strengthens them and weakens their already weaker opposition hence why we have this completely lopsided hopeless farce of a competition as it stands!

Your right that Sokol that did most of the damage for them is a South Freo product... talking about Lockyer the reserves coach for them is being paid more than some senior coaches in the comp, I heard this and makes sense for a guy with his experience.

I've heard the same about Brad Dodd at Peel. Interesting that the top 2 teams have invested heavily in Development coaches.

As for the alignment- no doubt qualification rules will get tightened

Yes but Freo pay Cam the puppets salary as well as all their assistants.
And tell me where you heard what Lockyer is being paid, facts please or is just another rumor. Remember that Lockyer has more than an assistant/ressies coaching role at Subi, he overseas all aspects of player development, that is why we have finally seen our Colts rise off the bottom of the table along with getting a quality colts coach who has held his spot under the new WAFC colts regime.

Under the new Colts set up,Coaches and Talent Managers held their positions if they were endorsed by the club and or were happy to continue in the role. Great improvement by Subi so clearly all parties happy.

Schofield what a hypocrite lol. Only a week or so ago when asked about the Peel/Freo alignment he said he didn't have a problem with it, it just means his club has to work harder to get better. Now the bitter pill of defeat has him whinging crapping on about how UNFAIR IT IS.

And rightly so. He does have a fair point. However it seems strange he has not condemned the alignment previously? I seem to recall last week, he was not fazed by it.

I hope the other 6 Wafl coaches come out and complain too.
