Can someone help out with the interchange bench?

AR I think Willie Dick went to Essendon for a season in 1992?
Len Gandini had a stint at Melbourne & Geelong around 1986 tho.
As for bench possibly- Bob Bosustow, Brad Edwards, Shane Cable.

Yes Willie Dick would be post 1990 too

DF Graham Ramshaw played 6 games for Fitzroy in 1964.
Steve Turner played 32 games for Melbourne in 1986/87 & 12 games for St Kilda in 1988/89.
Shane Cable played his 1 game for WCE in 1989. From memory there was a back story to his selection for that game when one of the players who was selected for the game was late to the team meeting and was subsequently dropped for the emergency S.Cable.

Brad Edwards sneaks in playing his first game for Fitzroy in 89 and Brett Yorgey probably qualifies as he went from the Demons on to Collingwood to make his AFL debut in 87 after previously having an unsuccessful go with South Melbourne

DD these are players from each WAFL club who played in the old VFL prior to the creation of the AFL in 1990. So the team you see on this thread are a team of Perth FC players who played in the VFL ( some people would say its still the VFL!)

Brett Yorgey was a solid player. Len Gandini would be a good replacement, I agree 'bease'

DD not trying to put words in AR's mouth but I would say it is just a bit of harmless fun picking a team of WAFL players from each WAFL team that played VFL before the AFL takeover, seeing as we are all starved of on field footy talk for another 3 months or so.....it sure beats reading about monotonous biased political crap I must say...keep up the good work AR!
