Thanks Smokey for the run down from the AGM but I would say the only reason the club made a nice profit would be due to money saved from Angus Graham walking out on the eve of last season. Crowds would have been record lows in the history of the the club.

Hopefully they keep in touch with Jake Spencer things can change and maybe the right job offer might entice him over. Great to have Matt Taylor back how come he only spent a year on an AFL list i thought every player drafted got a minimum of two years? Is Latch going around again or is he another who's given it away?

From drafting who DF? Only Perth players drafted last year and this were Matt Taylor and Gordon Narrier wasn't it?

Narrier this year, that's not it.
Not sure but that is what I heard.

DD, $70k was from 2016 Draft.-.Zac Fisher, Quinton Narkle and Matt Taylor. Draft payments came into this year's accounts as at 31 October 2017.
Recent 2017 Draft Gordon Narrier was drafted. That payment will be reflected in accounts as at 31 October 2018. Incidentally that will be the last year payments will paid for draftees. as I understand it.

Without that $70k we would have broken even for the year or at worst a small loss. That would not have surprised me as we had such a dismal year onfield.

Corey Yeo is a very good player, was arguably our best midfielder in 2015 but had a knee reconstruction in 2016 pre season and headed to Victoria. If his knee is all good you blokes have a picked up a good one there.

Yes, he is highly rated but I have not been able to find info on his season with Williamstown. Presumably his knee stood up ok in 2017 and he is fit and ready to go in 2018. He will add a lot to our midfield if he gets thru a good pre-season,
