Wellingham was cleared to play as an out of zone recruit for EP due to the fact that West Perth signed Tyler Keitel - the alignment was "entitled" to a replacement player , they didn't use it in 2017

Tunbridge is automatically a Perth listed player upon his discardment from the Victorian system and will not be allowed to play for East Perth under the rules in place

But they recruited their current captain Mcginnity for the 2017 season?

Yeah he was one of the limited number of out of zone players allowed in that squad mate - nothing to do with the "compensation signing" granted in the arbitration process by the WAFC which has been now cleared via Wellingham

It is all bullshit.
They should not be allowed to recruit from other WAFL Clubs.
Certainly not one that is ex AFL.
Utter bullshit.

That it is mate - and really , under Taylor's "equalisation" talk you would think that a club that finished at the bottom of the league the previous season would have a non-poaching moritorium in place to protect that club and give it a fair chance of regaining it's own grown talent from that useless , good for fuck all bar protecting drug addicts Victorian system

College still with the club. Has been hampered by injury but did show some signs of good form in the latter part of 2017 season.
Jacobs has retired.
Some doubt over Sinclair. Has been rumoured that work and/or study will be his priority. Hope he plays as he is an important player for us.
Haven't heard from the club about Tunbridge. Long history of injuries stuffed his AFL career. He may have had enough of footy. Hope he is fit to play WAFL as he will be very handy if he can stay on the park.

Jacobs and Sinclair both training.

Julian Jacobs retired after round 13 last year. With all the extra stuff he has going on outside of football with work and politics I would be surprised if this has changed in the space of six months.

Imo those guys are ok and in the bigger wafl scheme of things are probably just above serviceable what we need to get to as a club is to have those types as being players in the best 10 to 20 bracket and not being in the top 10 players at the club as they probably are now, just my thoughts.

Those two Casey boys will be very useful. Good news that Sinclair and Jacobs are both training as reported by Leedy. Sinclair is a vital cog and Jacobs will add to depth. I hope he is focussed and has no dstractions.
