FFS what a joke this club is. Instead of getting the captain to put out teasers to the supporters how about the Football Manager doing his job and keeping members and supporters informed of any developments whether it is good news or bad. Gee they might even sign a few members if they tell us who they have signed.

I hope they are not WCE reserves players.

DF, the Facebook clip is a much shorter message than the letter to members a few days ago which did suggest that some recruits were already confirmed and more to come.
BUT, still no formal announcements from the club. We have to believe it when we see it. I can't understand the lack of communication from the club. I still remain sceptical until I hear something official.
In the meantime I note that Sharrod Wellingham is back on our list as a one point player. I can't see why he won't be picked up again in the AFL Draft but still good to see him back on our list.

DD agree that if these players have been signed then it would be nice to see an article or at least a post on the clubs facebook page or an email. To be fair to the FM yes he is in charge of recruiting players to the club but it is not his job to post about it on social media or send emails is it?

How is it East Freo can name recruits as they get them and other clubs don't have an issue releasing names to the press.
Yet we have to be this top secret club that releases nothing to members and supporters.

Our poor on field showings is just as bad in the boardroom we are just as poor Off-field.

It's the football managers job Mr AFL to spread the news be it good or bad. Is honesty and transparency too much to ask from our club? We would be the most poorly treated supporters in the WAFL, probably the whole country.

So, he wants to play with his Eagle mates. If he doesn't get picked up in the draft he may be hoping for the rookie draft.
