I noticed that James & Tim Bristow are not listed on the EFFC website on either the senior players list or the injured players list. James was sidelined for the season with a shoulder injury & Tim had been hampered with injuries of his own. Does anybody know what their actual status is with the club?

I thought James was playing in the Mortlock League for Gin Gin or similar?

Tim was at the game on Saturday.

Jimmy out for the season with a shoulder injury, lost him after about 7 -8 games Puppy, think EF took him off their list about then......whilst Tim retired before that with ongoing achilles problems....the youngest of them Mackenzie is playing reserves though.....

BH Jimmy did play country footy last year, came back this year but as above did his shoulder....think he went travelling last year to.....all 3 are good honest players.....

Only going on what was said on EFFC site BH earlier in the year, where Jimmy was sent for a season ending shoulder op....tho wouldn't surprise me if he was playing country footy....the likes of Ellis, Micro and Anthony are all currently playing Ammos even though they were listed as season ending on EF injury list....LOL....who knows what's going on....

Is it normal for a bloke to be out injured, but playing in another comp? Or is this just an EF perk?

Maybe those sides are in contention to play finals also, after being out most of the year maybe they are easing back and playing some finals footy somewhere.

Considering Ellis and Mirco had been on EF injury list all season with no preseason, any footy at this point in the season is good footy, in prep for doing the 2019 preseason in Oct/Nov....is the standard of reserves footy a similar standard or better than B grade and C1 grade Ammos?.....less training demands......as for LA.....did his hammy at EF training a while back.....sounds like his body is shot at 30 years young.....as for Bristow ......fark knows.....but to be honest I would rather see Cronan, Watson and O'Reilly getting games over Jimmy.....

I wonder what the criteria is for a player at EF to return to fooball via the ammos as opposed to the reserves. Brock O'Brien was released to the ammos a couple of seasons ago to recover from recurring hamstring issues. On the other hand Jordan Dorotich played reserves all last season after suffering devastating injuries to both his knees.
