I hear that Rhys Palmer may head back West after the draft. Wonder if he has anything left and would be worth chasing? If so, we probably won't see him back in blue & white.

After all the blokes EF has lost to the AFL over the years it's more than overdue to get a few back and make your club a force again....so hopefully Palmer goes around with EF for another year or two.

If he comes back to WA hopefully he pull on the boots for the Sharks unless the Dockers or Eagles see some value in him. When he played Colts and transitioned into league it was always good to have a yarn with him and his old man Col.

Has he been delisted? Thought he had signed for 2 years at Carlton?...definitely experience wise would be handy but is he what EF needs?

There's no sign of him being delisted on the AFL site which gives a list for every club....unless it's only happened a short time ago.

Naagh pretty sure he signed for two years at Carlton BC....haven't read anything either....like I said Palmer experience would be handy but need Griffen more than Palmer....like the look of EF mids in Marsh, Eardley, Jansen, Anthony, Hampson, Holmes, Bennett, Burton etc mix of youth height inside and outside players.....need some height if Watson heads back to Victoria....big bodied height too

Well if Griffen comes back and Watson stays it will be huge. The return of Jansen is great news. If Liam Anthony and George Hampson can stay fit, and some of the younger players gaining experience the future looks bright.

Think Griffen's signature is the key, Watson sounds like he is definitely going....Griffen replaces Watto in the ruck, James Bristow sounds like he is back so thats another decent tall to rotate in the ruck and up forward, Dillon O'Reilly surely will play league....Howson showed glimpses and will be better for the run, Ellis back from injury perhaps?.... find another tall forward recruit and who knows EF may start to have a few options up front.......McInnes would of been nice but that won't happen from the looks of things.....
