The crowd will be sparse I fear and not really reflective of an important interstate game. If it had been played today at a suburban ground you would have had a really good crowd on a lovely day. I would have turned up if it had been on today. I'm not going tomorrow.

I too would be interested in the attendance figure. I would be expecting 5000 at least.
Of course a larger crowd would be better.
If the crowd has no substance, one has to ask the relevance of it all.
The total lack of build up or promotion has been glaringly obvious.
And one could easily say another lost opportunity has gone begging!
Wonder how many more are going to be lost.

There were about 20k there during the last qtr we wouldn't have got more than 3k at a suburban ground as has been proven in the near past at Leederville, Lathlain, Fremantle and Bassendean.
WA had there chances but poor kicking is poor football and we were atrocious by boot both at goal and in general field play.
SA had far better foot skills, were a helluva lot quicker and more disciplined when it counted.
A few WA boys were shown to be not quite at the next level up required.

First loss in 7 games....first time in 7 games an EF player wasn't playing for WA....well played SA, also missing 3 quality players to boot apparently.....state footy lives on then.....return game in SA then for 2020

Has been reported that WA and the SANFL both wish the interstate matches to continue.
The next interstate clash will be held in Adelaide of Twenty twenty.

Perhaps they should of selected Eyresy. Would have at least got a good honest effort from him.

Yep that is probably all that was required. Higgo has let the great State of WA down very badly.
